Alahoyus Thorriors around the world! It’s 2 Thorrsand 12! We had a nice break and nice holidays, now its time to grab this year by the balls! A lot of people think this may be the end of the world, but for most of us, we believe that it could be the beginning of something beautiful! Open up your nose and let the air breathe in. Oxygen to tha brain jack.
We are proud to announce for our first dates of the year, a tour supporting CORROSION OF CONFORMITY!!! If you’ve seen the guys last year since their reformation of the Animosity lineup, your gonna be psyched. Also on the tour will be new labelmates TORCHE!!! Beginning in NY and headed out to SXSW, we hope to see you all!
This will run us into our European tour and after that, who knows? Could South America finally be in our future? Only time will tell. Arrangements are being made. Get your shit together. Let’s do this. PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT AND TOP AND BOTTOM AS WELL. THIS WORLD IS GONNA NEED IT.

Alahoyus Thorriors!
We just finished our eighth (I believe) European Tour last week, and I think I’m finally over the jet lag. This was probably our most successful tour abroad and we couldn’t have done it without you guys!
Just to recap:
- We blazed Italy, hanging out in Venice, and dedicated our show to the birthplace of the Renaissance. We got lost and ended up at the church where Giotto cut his teeth. We had a blast backstage at the Red Moon Festival eating bbq with the locals, and played a show on a packed pier near Genoa.
- We played the main stage at HELLFEST in Clisson, France. We hung with the Dwarves, rocked to the Melvins, and danced on stage with IGGY AND THE STOOGES!! You can even watch most of our set here.
- We played in Switzerland in the basement of a manor where Napoleon used to crash.
- We rocked London and then stopped down by Stonehenge on the eve of the Summer Solstice!
- We played all over Germany and Belgium, and met up with the Volcom skate team in Denmark and partied the shit out of Copenhagen.
- We headed to Norway (our hearts are going out to them now as well) and played the HOVE festival to around 15,000 16-20 year old chicks (and maybe 10 dudes) all going apeshit Elvis or Beatles style.
- We finally played in Amsterdam and had an awesome time taking a moonlit tour of the city by canal ‘til the sun came up.
- We killed at FORTEROCK in Nijmegen and got to see Ghost and a shitload of black metal bands. Then the next day we played a small amazing festival on a farm called ROSROCK in the Netherlands and it was completely awesome.
- After that we played a slew of shows in Austria, and then again in Germany, played our second time at STONED FROM THE UNDERGROUND to an enthusiastic crowd getting soaked by the rain. Here’s where we ran out of merch.
- We had a couple more shows in Berlin and Hamburg, then a few days off at the beach in France.
- Finally we headed to Madrid for one of the most amazing festivals we’ve ever been a part of – SONISPHERE, MADRID. There we hung with Mastodon, played to around 25,000 crazy Spanish Thorriors, witnessed Iron Maiden be completely amazing and witnessed Slash, the Darkness, and Twisted Sister perform. Twisted Sister was pretty rad actually. Except the bass player painted his beard on…??? I don’t know about that. He DID look like Walter from The Big Lebowski… so that’s a plus.
All in all, this was an amazing tour. I want to thank Klaus Kochel, Simon, Mails, Arne, and all of Volcom Europe, and a very special thanx to our TM and all around badass problem solver, Micha Fluke without whom we wouldn’t have been able to pull any of this off.

Valient Thorr European Tour Kicks Off

Valient Thorr are touring Europe starting in Italy this Friday, June 10 and ending in Spain July 16! Check out the tour dates and get ready to party!
The Venusians will then be back in the states for an August tour with Pentagram and Jeff the Brotherhood, and the 2011 Bumbershoot festival in Seattle in September. More dates are on the way, so stay tuned.
BIG NEWS From VALIENT HIMSELF!

Alahoyus broskeetos and sweet sweet ladybirds!
We are on break doing some individual recognizance essential to the future realities and possibilities that each of you entertain just by being alive!!
I thought now would be a very good time to let you in on some upcoming goings-on. First of all, in June, we’ll embark on our Summer European Excursion beginning with Hellfest in France, hitting Stoned from the Underground in Germany, Fortarock in the Netherlands, our first ever show in Greece, dates in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Finland – all over the place – and ending at Sonisphere in Madrid. Dates will continue to be posted for these shows, so stay tuned for that.
Then in August, we’ve just confirmed a tour with PENTAGRAM (!?!?!!) & JEFF the Brotherhood! Tour dates are being booked now and will be announced soon!
After that we are working on a September west coast jaunt that I can’t tell you about yet, including some festival dates out there.
And finally, we may just have something cooking for November but all shall be foretold in time…(quick note, as I was typing this out, when I was typing “foretold”- spell correct changed it to fertile, which- for once- was pretty cool).
