Hope you buds are all pumppumppumped about the new tour, and the new secret jams we are working on! If you have a moment, I’d like to introduce to you this weeks Thorrior. To find him, we must travel all the way to Sweden to a place called Karlstad. Erik Thorr is the Captain of the Karlstad Thorriors, and since we’ve never even been there, but Erik has seen us many places all over the globe including France, LA, London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Gothenburg, and Stockholm to name a few, I’d say he’s the Captain of all the Swedish Thorriors in our book. We have partied with him in many places, and he has gone to great lengths to make our visits to his territorys more than pleasant, and for that, we thank him. Ladies and Gents, Congratulations are in order for Erik, our THORRIOR OF THE WEEEEEEEEK!

Alahoyus to all! just posted a shitload of new dates for the VOLCOM TOUR 2010 featuring MASTODON, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, BARONESS, and yes, your favorite Venusians, VALIENT THORR. We are super psyched to do this tour with all these great bands, especially in TONS of cities that we’ve never even played in. Touring 250+ shows a year for 6 years, and you’d think that we’ve hit every spot, but there are ALWAYS more spots. And a few of these spots we’ve only been to a few times, so this is a special treat for us. Another cool thing is its close enough to some of our regular stomping grounds that tried and true THORRIORS can hop in a rig and haul ass for a little road trip action. We’ll be playing cuts from our new album that will be finished (not released, but finished) by the time we hit the road. Can’t wait to see you all out there! Help us spread the word! Alahoyus bros and broskeetas. Lots of big news coming your way from us this week, but I want to start it off with this week’s Thorrior. Now, I don’t know this lil cutie’s name, but she hails from Atlanta, GA. She came up after our show with Early Man and Caltrop there (before we started the buttdance party for Early Mike’s birthday) and claimed she had a tattoo with some of my lyrics. When she pulled up her shirt to show me, for a split second, I had a brain fart moment, where I had to wrack my brain to even think of what they were from… Hey- it happens when you get older. Its called Presque Vu. Its like that “tip of the tongue” moment where your brain can’t really retrieve the info it needs. As I read, “Life is Love, Love is Life” I looked at Eidan Thorr, and realized this was from “I am the Law” from our 2nd album TOTAL UNIVERSE MAN. Next time we are in Atlanta, Ill be sure to catch her name for a proper congratulations. There you have it folks, full of teenage lust- the THORRIOR OF THE WEEK!!!

Alahoyus Holmbres and Fancy Ladies- We here @ Castle Greyskull are proud to announce the birth of Lil Jonny Wolf Thorr. His proud earf folks Jake Wolf Thorr (the og true believer) and Mama Shannon Thorr (seen here with Tiny Thorr), and uncle Nitewolf can be seen here with the lil dude. Lil Jonny was born the day after Martin Luther King day, which was like last tuesday. or wednesday. Either way, he’s about a week old. Nitewolf and I dropped by to give Lil Jonny some positive vibrations on his 4th day on Earf. He was wrapped up in some Valient Thorr Brand Swaddling Clothes. He can look forward to lots of heavy rocking and cool jams in his future. Mom says he’s probably gonna be a guitar player. Nitewolf claims he’s buying him drums. Im betting either way he’s gonna be howling at the moon before the year is up. Come to think of it, he probably already is.
