‘Exit Strategy’ video actual frame giveaway with new Walsby book
Valient Thorr’s “Exit Strategy” video was created by Bifocal Media and legendary punk/comic artist Brian Walsby, through a process where every frame of the video was printed out, drawn on, composed with other paper elements, ripped up a bit, and scanned back in. The end result is a politically charged, animated video composed entirely of paper. Now; Valient Thorr, Volcom Entertainment, and Bifocal Media are giving the actual frames of this popular video away to VT fans.
The frames (signed my Mr.. Walsby) will be given away with Brian’s new book of comic art: MANCHILD 3. With MANCHILD 3 Brian Walsby returns with another stinging slab of satirical comic art. Oh yeah… MANCHILD 3 comes with a Melvins CD. The Making Love Demos is a collection of 8 unreleased tracks recorded by the band in 1987. While the original master tapes have long since disappeared, It just so happens that Mr. Walsby was given a copy of this recording back in ‘88 and held onto it just for this very moment. We’ve had the whole thing mastered and tweaked for your listening/collecting pleasure. It’s still raw as hell, but we like it that way. Four of these songs were re-tooled and recorded for the Ozma record. Four of them exist only on this CD.
